December Leaderboard Update
To celebrate the end of the year, and the first Holiday season for GOG, we have prepared a special December Leaderboard. Total leaderboard token rewards will be 1,500,000 Tokens for the month of December
Based on player feedback we have decided to transition Leaderboard Scoring from Global Cumulative Scoring to Global Weekly Scoring. This means that each week’s Leaderboards will be scored independently across all game modes.
Immutable will undergo an end of year office shutdown from 23 December 2024 until 03 January 2025, during this period only a critical staff will remain to ensure only critical systems continue to operate smoothly. This means that no token rewards can be paid out this period. In order to ensure that rewards are distributed before Christmas for December we will score and distribute rewards for two-weeks of Leaderboards prior to Immutable’s shut-down.
Week 3 of December will represent a special week for GOG as we release a variety of new game modes and features that are aimed at improving quality of life, and testing brand new features. Due to the new content expected this week, we will only score the Special Event mode in Week 3. Token rewards will be adjusted to reduce the competitive burden on players.
Week 4 of December will see additional feature releases and continued live testing of features. Similar to Week 3, we will only score the Special Arena Event mode in Week 4. Token rewards will follow the structure for Week 3. However, these rewards will not be paid out until January-2025.
