Game mode update: Gauntlet
Commanders,
Gauntlet (game mode) is back this week, starting on the 19th of March 2025, 6pm AEDT (post maintenance). We’ve heard your feedback and implemented a couple of changes to how Gauntlet is played! With bigger rewards, more features, and faster break-even for players, get your ‘Gauntlets’ on!
Gauntlet available: 19th of March to 26th of March 2025.

What’s changed?
Scaled Buy-In Price

Gauntlet now offers players 3 tiers of entry fees to choose from, which each scaling up in entry price and rewards. See below for full details.
Ascension Seal Rewards

The below table shows the number of Ascension Seals players will earn after each game. For example, if a player has selected EASY mode and WON 3 GAMES, they will earn a total of 42 Ascension Seals (that’s break even!)
Note that Ascension Seals are automatically added to your inventory, outside of your temporary bag. Ascension Seals cannot be lost (once rewarded) as a result of losses in Gauntlet.
Bigger and better rewards
Ascension Seals aren’t the only premium prizes to be won! Aside from Radiant Souls, Calling Crystals, Summon Stones, and other in-game currencies, players can win Guardian Shards. During this run of Gauntlet, Phoenicia, Floriel, and Dribb Guardian Shards can be won!
See the full list of rewards below! Those Phoenicia Shards are sure to come in handy, along with the ones you can earn through Refer A Friend!

Breaking even!
It was four before, now it’s three! Players need only win 3 games during their Gauntlet run (minimum Easy mode) in order to break even on their Ascension Seals!
Drafting your party
We’ve made it easier to choose which Guardians to add to your party. Guardians are now presented in pairs, each with 1 legendary and 1 epic, categorized by their role. Choose wisely Commander.

That's it for this update! We look forward to seeing you play Gauntlet, and feedback!
