Mid-Season Update

We’ve heard community feedback on the adjustments to the October Leaderboard reward schedule and as a result we have added 115,000 GOG Tokens to the total prize pool to reduce the impact players rank 50-200 feel from October’s Leaderboard Reward expansion.

October will see us continue to use the Global Leaderboard Ranking system used in previous months
We are increasing and widening $GOG Token rewards to the top 1,000 players for regular competitive modes, and expanding to top 3,000 players for this month’s Special Event. We will increase total token rewards by 50% (1.5M Tokens)
With the reintroduction of $GOG Tokens and new Eri’s Store offering, we are removing the majority of web2 rewards from Leaderboards, players ranked between 1,000 and 2,000 will continue to receive web2 rewards
We’ve decided to take a break from separate Guild based rewards and added these rewards into the Solo reward pool
Based on feedback that the meta in Endless Mode has become stale, we have decided to allocate the token rewards towards Arena mode. We believe that the meta in Arena has more potential for dynamic meta and will use this player data to make improvements to this game mode.
