The Fan The Flames summoning event is live, along with 3 new Pets to summon! Let’s look into the near future and see what we have planned for Pets!

TL;DR

3 new features to upgrade your Pets!

• Pet Radiance; max Radiance tier for all Pets increased to 5. The higher the Radiance tier, the higher the level of your Pet’s passive skill.
• Pet Ascension;  Pet’s Radiance tier can be increased with other Radiant Pets, Pet Souls, and or Ascension Seals
• Pet Cultivation; Advance your Pet’s skills and increase their level, or Perfect their abilities by customising what skills they have

Pet Radiance and Ascension

Let’s start with your Pet (NFTs), and their maximum Radiance level. With the upcoming update, all Founder Pets will start at a higher Radiance level than non-founder Pets. With Gen 1 Pets, there are 2 paths: 

• If they were acquired as a Web2 asset in-game, then they have no Radiance (Pet summoning coming in a different future update!)
• If acquired out-of-game (summoned through Prayers for example) they start at Radiance Tier 0.

See the table below for your Pet’s maximum Passive Skill Level, dependent on their Radiance Tier.

To level up your Pet’s Radiance Tier, you must:

1. Consume other Radiant Pets
2. Consume Pet Souls
3. Spend Ascension Seals

Please bear in mind that these numbers are subject to change, as the team continues developing and refining the feature before releasing it in the near future.

Pet Cultivation

With the Cultivation system we’re introducing a new way for Pets to improve and acquire new skills. Here’s how each of the systems will work:

Advanced Cultivation

To improve the level of a Pet Skill you must:

• Step 1
  • Select a Pet you wish to improve
• Step 2
  • Select the skill you wish to improve
• Step 3
  • Select a Pet that you wish to sacrifice
• Step 4
  • Confirm and spend the required amount of Pet Souls and/or Ascension Seals to finish the upgrade

Perfect Cultivation

To change the skill a Pet has you must:

• Step 1
  • Select a Pet and choose the skill you wish to replace
• Step 2
  • Option A: Select the Pet with the skill you want and then select that skill
  • Option B: Select a Pet DNA item that has the skill you wish to inherit
• Step 3
  • Confirm and spend the required amount of Pet Souls and/or Ascension Seals to finish the upgrade

Each time one of these actions is completed a Cultivation point is consumed. Pets have a maximum number of starting Cultivation Points when they are created. These points can be increased via TBA methods., but when they run out Cultivations cannot be performed.
