August Leaderboard Recap
- Thank you for the encouraging feedback regarding the Full House Special Event, we are pleased to know that we are iterating and moving forward in the right direction
- We have noticed ongoing increases in multi-account activity, and we have implemented large scale bans and account suspensions across the player base. Over time we will progressive roll out new methods to defeat multi-account and botting
- If you have received a warning and believe it is in error please contact our support teams providing relevant information regarding your secondary account IDs, the devices used to access GOG, and the relationship of the secondary account holder to yourself.
- Rewards for August Endless, Arena, and Boss Rush Leaderboards will be compiled and validated this week with Rewards expected to be distributed by 09-September.
September Leaderboard Announcement
- September will see us continue to use the Global Leaderboard Ranking system used in previous months
- We are bringing back $GOG Tokens to our Leaderboards as we prepare to announce additional Token Utility. We are currently starting small with Token Rewards, and will ramp this up as we improve our token health metrics over coming months
- With the introduction of $GOG Tokens we are reducing Ascension Seal and Radiant Soul Rewards in Leaderboards. This is the start of a longer term program designed to balance the NFT economy, especially amongst Core 1 Guardians
- With the steady release of new Guild features over the next few months we also want to drive long-term guild engagement and hence we are shifting Guild Leaderboards from Special Events to Endless mode. We have bumped Idol Rewards to the Top 20 Guilds, these Idols continue to have the chance to drop Founders Legendary Guardians from Altar
- To ensure players can focus their efforts on Special Event 3 and provide additional time to tune and improve their teams for other modes September Week 1 will be a rest week. Special Event 3 will have its own leaderboard rewards, but scores earned for Endless and Boss Rush during this week will not count towards September Competition Rewards. We plan on continuing this pattern into future months. For the remaining 3 weeks of September we will score:
- 3x Weeks of Endless
- 2x Weeks of Arena
- 1x Week of Rush
